OVERVIEW

The McLaren Longtail name has a well-earned reputation. The cars in this series are engineered for an extreme ride. Delivering 0-100 kph (0-62 mph) in just 2.8 seconds, with 765 PS (755 bhp) and 800 Nm (590 lbft) of torque, the McLaren 765LT Spider is a force to be reckoned with. A drive made all the more exhilarating when open to the elements.

It takes just 11 seconds to open and stow the ultra-lightweight single-piece electric retractable hard top. Perfect for experiencing the full roar of the quad-exit full-titanium exhaust system. Plus, a powered rear window allows the searing Longtail soundtrack to be enjoyed to the full, even with the roof in place.

Power

At the heart of the 765LT Spider is a brutally powerful 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 pushing 755 horsepower, delivering instant throttle response and spine-tingling acceleration. It’s engineered to feel explosive yet precise, giving you race-car performance with the refinement and reliability you expect from McLaren.

Unleashing its mighty twin-turbo V8 through a lightning-quick 7-speed gearbox, the 765LT Spider delivers breathtaking power the instant you touch the throttle, turning every drive into an adrenaline rush. Its razor-sharp chassis and finely tuned suspension make cornering feel like an extension of your instincts, giving you confidence and control whether you’re carving backroads or attacking the track.

LIGHT FANTASTIC

To reach the extreme levels of performance associated with every Longtail, our engineers pursued ruthless, exhaustive weight saving. The McLaren 765LT Spider was 80 kg (176 lbs) lighter than the elegant 720S Spider and boasted a class-leading power-to-weight ratio.

The driver can feel the results on every straight and every corner. The figures speak volumes. The emotion is impossible to quantify.

The McLaren 765LT Spider’s cabin is ruthlessly driver-focused, drenched in carbon fiber and Alcantara with lightweight racing seats and almost zero distractions. It feels more like a track weapon than a luxury car, yet still delivers a sharp, premium finish with a clean digital display and purposeful controls.
